This is quite common where I live, and even for our street. On Christmas day my one neighbor with the Z06 Corvette had a 570S in nearly the same color as my F Type. It was a friend of his and we both drove it around the 4 mile loop near the house. When I first moved here BMW of all pedigrees were the dominant car model in the parking lots. Now they seem to be replaced by Maserati and the BMW are for their kids. There are three Ferraris on our street alone and that is only 18 houses. Strangely not a single Tesla yet, but we have nearly everything else.

My first was a 64 that my dad passed on to me in 1974. Thing always vapor locked, the defroster didn’t work so I ran old vacuum cleaner hoses from the rear heat vents to the windscreen. Drivers door was kept closed with a hook latch, and the fuel gauge always read empty. I loved that car.

Funny you posted this since there was a convertible version of this in the same original cloud blue color at the beach today. The driver seemed to be slipping the clutch a lot to keep it running. Forgot how loud those were. Appeared to be lowered and not in the best shape, or as many of these did had rusted out shock towers.

Just taking the fairing off that would look awesome. The rest looks good, but seems unnecessary.

Oh totally! And that's the fun. Way cheaper to buy a prebuilt one but I want a project.

I get it. Someone in my old building had one, and it really stood out among the Japanese sport bikes ridden by all the young doctors (I lived a few blocks from a hospital, a lot of doctors in my building). And projects are fun (for a while, anyway!).
