    The Rolex 1908 Survey Which Gold

    Please take Platinum case and the Black Dial off the table just to start. Let's not speak of them in this thread. The pending question is for the Rolex 1908, with the white dial should I get Yellow or White Gold. Which do you feel looks better? Forget about the $900 up charge for White verse Yellow Gold as a factor. Currently preowned and new are selling on the grey market for the exact same price. Mine will be new from an Rolex AD.

    While the yellow gold looks more traditional for this type of watch to me. The white gold historically has better value retention or gains down the road.

    So white or yellow?
