Going Paleo helps tremendously. It's just so hard not to eat bread, pasta, tortillas ect. I'd rather run!

I've actually nominated my 10-year old son to keep me on my workout routine. He likes to work out with me (no weights, really), so he's always asking if it's time yet. It's actually working pretty well. I'm eating lots of protein, cut almost 90% of the carbs, lots of fruit and water. So I think I'll be seeing some good changes soon.

The fact that you haven't taken the time to choose an avatar makes me think you're not committed.

Points for working out with your son though. That's awesome.

So I run between 4-7 miles seven days a week and I've tailored down my calorie intake to about 1200-1400 a day and burn 2300-2800 a day. I've stayed on this now for about 3 months. I even ran 80% of the days during my last trip. Actually I don't like running in the current cooler weather which here in south Florida is in the 60-80 range. I like running in the 80-100 range since I'm a sunrise runner.
    Cheers,

    Michael

    My god, man! I just ran in -22 (-8F)! Guess I'm a freeze-your-ass-off runner.
