Round at a friend's yesterday, helping them make green bean chutney

Made some banana bread today. Nothing beats home baking warm from the oven.

Found a recipe for gigantes made in the pressure cooker. Growing up I had always been lead to believe that lentils and pressure cookers are a VERY bad mix, so I had to try. Delicious! Served with a basic whole wheat flatbread. My friend grows the wheat, in this case hard winter wheat, and I mill it into flour.

It looks perfect! But, am I the only one who thinks about The Young Ones, when lentils and pressure cooking is mentioned?

I am not familiar with that TV program (?) but I can imagine it is what I was warned about in the past.
