That boy had a more lucrative paper round than me.

The car has undergone some work over the years, it was pretty clapped out when he owned it

Oil change on the SM yesterday. The original owner swapped all kinds of parts on this, one mistake he made was a very soft aluminum oil fill cap. I've removed it a few times and tried to be as careful as possible, this time the torx bit ripped it apart.

Sitting there staring at a bike with no oil in it trying to figure out what to do. Can't drill it out and put metal shavings in the engine, tried grabbing the edge with vice grips but it just collapsed. Luckily I was able to sacrifice a larger torx bit, I hammered it in the cap and was able to remove it. The original owner included the original in the parts box with the bike, I swapped back to that one.

I was frozen for a minute, both oil filters and both screens were out, no oil in the bike, and no way to put oil back in the bike

Emblem swap looks good, nice job not scratching the F out of it.

It's barely spring and I've had the top down more than up in the past month. Even if this was all the sun we got all year I'd still choose a convertible. I'm waiting for my gf - I drove her to an appointment - and I'm sitting in the car park with the top down working on my tan. It's just so good. I don't mind waiting in my comfy seat in the sun, can do this all day long.

I do miss having a convertible. When it’s great, it’s perfect.
