I don't think the acquisition of CFB was about the watches and more about the retail chain of stores. My understanding is the watches have been a loss for several years now. I did think the peripheral rotor was a cool setup. Maybe some of this tech may find it's way into a Rolex or Tudor movement or sold to someone else?
My Rolex/Tudor AD back in Pompano Beach was also a CFB AD. About six years ago they stopped putting the watches in the store, but you could order one. Without having something to try on I did not see this working.
