Now with this challenge, I'd sure wear it better.![]()
I'm so not into Sub style, but this I wouldn't mind:

Everything improved, to my eyes.
To my wallet, ain't $955 for Miyota 9015 a bit steep?

Very nicely MilSuby. Available without a date too. From past experience of owning a MkII, I’m sure it looks and feels like a quality object.
My only reservation with the movement would be the 42-hour power reserve. Apart from that I’d say the price was good - and tempting if you you want a well-made MilSuby watch.
Oh, and reading the blurb, why do watch people insist on talking about negative space when they just mean… space? It’s like people being unable to write ‘aggressive’ without putting ‘passive’ in front, regardless of passivity. Old man rant over.
I had a curiosity I had if Bill was still making watches, but not interested enough to search and find out. Going to look it appears these are older watches that have been sold out for some time. The site does have a 2025 copywrite statement at the bottom so someone is working it. The site is more historical. So it appears he is not making watches any longer. I seem to remember him being sick a while back. I guess you would need to find a preowned one which should bring down the price. Back in my early Seiko days I had 3-4 of his watches. The Paradiver was my favorite.
