I’m still going for a walk today.

    You're killing it @Spooky!

Still rehabbing here, I was able to do a few more squat reps today, but the back is not back to 100% yet. Took the opportunity to do some lighter single leg work, finished up with these pistols.

    Superb mobility there w.

I'm back in the gym! And climbing. Gently though, ribs are still a thing.

    Good news though.

Thanks, guys. The injury is driving me crazy but forcing me to be more creative and get in some different workouts.

Was it COVID @geoffbot? Glad the ribs are getting better.

Didn't test but I highly suspect so, tinnitus came back with a vengeance (which I only got after covid) and couldn't taste. 90% better now, ribs are getting better, I can do curls and gentle shoulder presses at least!

Covid for me (whole two times total now) always manifests with extreme body aches. First time no taste, second time unaffected.

I’ve been taking for granted how much my Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots or even my Red Wing Loggers stabilize my ankles. Wore the red wings Sunday for my walk around the mall.

This evening I used my neighbors treadmill and wore my running shoes for the first time since my sprain. Started out fairly painful actually. Ended at about a 3.5 mph pace and not feeling too bad.

Even though I selected “indoor run” my watch didn’t quite agree with what the treadmill displayed. Once I noticed that I resolved to reach at least two miles on my Apple Watch. (I assume the calories/etc are more accurate on the watch as it has my height/weight/gender/age recorded. )

Around 50 more to go. But at least I can button this shirt now.

...I need a beard trim too.

    Good man!

Cutting your beard off saves a few grams too.
