Thanks! Well, it was necessary -- the running more so than the weight loss, which was more or less a side-effect. The doctors told me that blood flow to my lower legs was bad. That might ultimatemly result in loss of toes or limbs. Once the thought was in my head, "I might never walk again" -- the running part was fairly easy. You just need a strong enough motivation.

Blimey. Strong motivation indeed. You can just do your best and cross fingers and toes eh?

I hope so. I also need medication. Low dosed aspirin mainly. But I need to make another appointment soon for check-up. I sure hope I solved the bloodflow problem. At least my calf muscles are now twice the size they used to be .
    Cheers, Sedi

Ha yes. Like in the car world when something breaks don't just replace it, upgrade it. When life gives you lemons make lemonade etc.

Liked this post not because of your predicament, but because of your will to make a change!

Your progress is very impressive. You'd be surprised how many people give up and just deal with the health consequences when faced with those challenges. You deserve all the props and congrats for the work you have done and continue to do.

Down to my lowest weight since 07/18/2022. Two walks today.
Not going to fail the mile on Thanksgiving.

I now know how far I’ve walked if I mow my yard and my neighbor’s yard. Lol

I want to note, my lines are a little straighter than that.
