We've been on a cocktail kick, lots of great drinks out there.
Negroni, Enzoni, and Aviation have been in heavy rotation. For the Enzonis, we were using fresh cherries instead of grapes, but both are delicious. We also tried making Negronis substituting Perrine from Treehouse in Mass for the Campari. It was good, but we preferred the classic recipe on that one.
Anders Erikson on YouTube has a great cocktail channel if anyone is interested. We discovered him during lockdown and have continued to sub/watch his content.
Gin Rickey. Used 10ml amareno cherry syrup instead of simple syrup.

I’ve always been an Old Fashioned and martini kind of guy, and to a lesser extent, Manhattans, but over the years, I’ve also found some other classic cocktails that are wonderful. Sazerac, Corpse Reviver No.2, French 75, Dark and Stormy, Pimm’s Cup, Moscow Mule.
I recently tried a Sidecar for the first time. Not sure it’ll be a go too, but I liked it. It has that classic boozy-ness to it that is appealing.

Most of the local micro breweries are unfortunately still on the IPA train, but found one which makes quite nice bitter too.

Cheers, M
I'm a fan of most of those, as well as the less popular variations. I like a boozy cocktail.
I like Citra and Galaxy hops, but I feel like most IPAs I've tried aren't very balanced drinks. Lots of my friends are juicy or NE IPA fans, I can't get in to them.
I really like NEIPAs. I like beer with some hop, but it doesn't take too much for it to become too much. As for cocktails, I'm a bourbon and beer (sometimes together, sometimes apart) kind of guy. I do like vodka tonics though; with lemon. I generally drink bourbon straight, but I do make a good old fashioned. I also have a recipe for a good bourbon cocktail- the maple leaf. Shot of bourbon, shot of rye, 1/2 shot maple syrup, 1/2 shot lemon juice. Mix and serve as though it was a martini.
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
I used to like IPAs, but nowadays I like less hoppy stuff. I don’t need a ton of IBUs, I’m bitter enough.
