Too late, I lost most hope for the future a while ago. People on the extreme fringes (pick your side, not going to get political) dominate politics and the media (since they drive ratings and therefore $$$). Most people are apathetic and don’t bother to look at anything in detail. No one in their right mind who actually wants to get things done will run for office, and I don’t blame them. I wouldn’t.
