Ah, so the penultimate sleeper, really.

First off, I feel I should start with an apology for not coming clean when the subject was raised previously (and recently); but in my defence: I’m not one for talking about things that have not yet materialized and this has taken nearly 2 years to materialize.

So, today I finally got to realize a life-long dream of owning a Lotus and went to pick up this:




To say I’m ecstatic doesn’t really begin to describe how I feel.

A black beauty.

Well, you're half right... ... though you'd be forgiven for thinking it was/is black; it looks almost black in certain light. My father-in-Law's first comment was "I didn't know you'd ordered a black one !".
It's actually dark green metallic; they call it 'dark verdant'. It's a very tricky colour to capture because (of the curves) it changes from every angle. It only really 'comes alive' when the sun catches it (there's not been too much sun around here of late ). Even the showroom lights don't do it justice.
