Well, it's home. I took it for a decent rip this afternoon. This is a supremely impractical vehicle but the smiles per mile is off the charts

Perspective is so funny…I have a Mustang on my list of “practical” next car purchases. On the low end of practical, yes, but it’s a big comfy four seater with a big trunk.

Congratulations, mate. It looks fantastic and is the kind of car you can hand down to the next generation as it’s sure to be a future classic.

Supremely impractical? Hah! Own a Lotus for a while, then re-evaluate that statement. . Compared to my old Elise, that Mustang is like a minivan. But certainly way more fun than a minivan.

While I respect the Mustang (probably my favorite American muscle), I'm just not a Mustang guy... but that is pure coolness, and I'd be happy to drive that. Manual transmission for the win, too! Huge congrats.

That’s a hard no from me.

I can accept an auto in a car with no sporting intentions at all, like an SUV that’s not meant for off-roading. But I’m anything sporty, if I’m sacrificing my involvement for speed, might as well completely take me out of the equation because for sure a computer would do the whole thing faster than I could anyway.
