That is great to hear! My knee and left shoulder were very bothersome pre-pandemic. If anything good came of it, they seem healthy now

I train lighter lifts without a belt, then use a belt for heavier lifts. Example, squats this week were...

Warm up (heel touch, goblet 1.5 squats, foam roll adductors and calf, calf mobility, back squats of 15 up to 125kg)
    125kgx10 no belt
    143x8 no belt
    152x5 no belt
    165x5 no belt
    175x3x3 belt
    143x12 belt

I use SBD knee sleeves when I do any pulling or squatting. Give them a try, most raw lifters use them. I also only use a 6.5mm belt for training, but 10mm for max attempts or competitions.
Thanks for the recommendation, will look into knee sleeves.

PR on raw squat pre-pandemic was 192kg (425). I am trying to listen to my body this time and not push myself to the point of injury again. Have not tried more than 165kg (365) yet

That's a song. It isn't pertinent to Geoff, but the title, well....

    It's a good plan, it's a marathon not a sprint.

Do you have a plan you're following? I have some good progressive overload plans for intermediate lifters if you want me to put something together for you. Spreadsheet - just enter your max in the 3 lifts and it will populate across the sheets in the spreadsheet with 4-8 weeks of weights for main and accessory lifts.

Thanks, let me sew how things go through March (current plan). I backed off my 5 days/pre-pandemic. 3 days heavy now, 2 days light cardio only....and more sleep

Brain fart, just realized you meant personal best.

    240kg, 530 lbs

Nor sure if I'll get it all back. A bit older, and I do not eat as much as I did then
