A friend owned one a few years old and just out of warranty. Cool car, but expensive to maintain for what it was.

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Ah yeah, the V10 BMWs, I forgot about those. And V10 diesel Touareg, completely slipped my mind. That’s the one they used to tow the plane from Skyfall, right?

Sad times. New c63 and porsche 728 are all 4 cyl
I know, right? Four cylinder AMGs and upmarket Boxsters/Caymans make my heart hurt. I’m hoping that electric cars and other alternative fuels catch on enough with the hoi polloi and the commercial industry to the point that the gas crunch is eased a little. An electric car sounds like a nightmarish silent coffin to me, but to Joe or Jill Shmoe who just wants to sit in a chair and text their way to work, what’s the difference to them between a petrol Camry and an electric, say, Nissan Leaf or equivalent? Nothing, really. They don’t give a damn. Let them eat amps.

Electric cars will be fine. I'll accept them graciously when the time comes

Very nice! For some reason I thought you had the Avant, but the sedan is a looker too. Audis have always been good looking cars.
