Oh but man oh man, I saw an F type on the road the other day... one of the few really great looking modern cars. I really like it. The Supro isn't my cup of tea, but I can see it being desirable.

F-Type is certainly one of the best looking cars on the market right now, I agree.

I have driven the V6, wasn't powerful enough for me. The v8 is only in auto.

Have you driven one? They have a very tight cockpit that makes the F-Type feel spacious which it's not. I felt like the door, tunnel and very close roof where squishing me and I'm not that tall.

The airplane like cockpit was one of the appeals of the original supra, or features at least.

This happened to out CX5 last summer... Car was brand new... and we were on vacation! Of course the local tire place did not have the tire I needed in stock, and it was the day we were to leave, so I had a mismatched tire put on just to get us home, then my OCD wanted the right tire so I had a yet another one put on when we got home. Frustrating.

That is frustrating. Might add a plug kit to the road trip packing - it can get you home so you can sort out the tires at your leisure vs emergency and over priced purchases on the road.

Patch never plug unless it is temp fix. Then get it patched later.

This one won't be susceptible to the issues that plugs have, but I'm having it fixed properly anyway because of the type of tire.

Test drove a Raptor today this one coming for me in three weeks it's not nearly as ridiculous as I thought when it comes to a daily driver so I went for it

Congrats on the new ride, but I don't think that annual fuel cost is accurate

I am paying $5.60/gal locally for 92+ - we're in the middle of nowhere WV this week in a cabin and it is still $5/gal out here.

Will be my third one I am required to drive a vehicle less than 5 years old will be my 8th pickup truck in my current position I think I am pretty well settled on ford's for now I will miss my king Ranch but its just time and the Raptor was the only high content truck I could get my hands on In short order

Maybe it was different over there but this is the fifth generation of Supra. The first and second generations where lengthen versions of the Celica (Thus they were called Celica Supra's) Liftback to fit the inline six 4ME and then in 1982 the twin cam 5M-GE (Gen 2 Supra)in place of the 20R and 22R four cylinder SOHC . Neither had an airplane cockpit look. Gen three did not either. So it would have to be the Gen Four which I would not call the original. I never drove one of these so my favorite was always the Gen 2 with the performance package.

I like the “gee, that’s all that was available” loophole.

Long ago I was due to replace my company car, and the company decreed that you could only get a GM car. We were required to have four door sedans, so I ordered a Saab 9-5 (they were owned by GM at the time).
