Think Raza means not having a fixed spoiler. That one looks to have a hydraulic spoiler.

My brother just bought a TTs Mk2.
272bhp is not a lot by today's standards but bloody hell it's rapid.

Not true I did love the car. It is tight but so are nearly every two seat sports car. I had bother the supercharged 8 and the supercharged 6 hopped up with factory parts and code flashes. Mine supercharged 6 was 430 at the rear wheels per the dyno so probably 480 at the crank. The v8 ruins the car. Sadly that seemed to be all anyone wanted to test. Jaguar admitted it was a 11th hour knee jerk move to put the V8 in and all the real development was for the six. The v6 is a scalpel on the road even in the rain. I prefer the Pirelli tires over the other options. I had the sports seats in both which may have added to the tightness. Startup up always revs the motor. Both of mine had the dual mode exhaust. A lot of fun in over passes and tunnels with the top down. Not so much trying to creep in or out in the wee hours of the morning if you forget to put it in silent (well less noise, but never really quiet). It is a looker with the second one being the orange metallic. I loved the color and aligns with the sports cars should be bright colors mantra. The start/stop system uses a small second battery in the trunk which disables the function if the voltage is low. I disconnected the wire to it and it was on semi permanent vacation until I sold it. Since you have this stick shift thing I guess the base six supercharged is your engine option. At 340 HP it more than adequate.

Even looks good with the roof up.

Normally, the TT RS has a fixed wing, but it can be replaced with the standard 911-style deploying wing, that comes up at speed for downforce. It can be raised manually, I assume, just like it could in my old Boxster.

    This is the retractable wing:

This is what the fixed wing TT RS looks like:

Oh, that’s great to hear! I’m glad I was wrong, it really is a beautiful car. Did you have any problems with it while you had it?

It was for a while, but with the increasingly small number of convertible choices out there, I thought it was prudent to include a small number of fixed roof possibilities. Mainly coupes, though, I don’t want to go full on with the four doors, that would be a little bit of a shock to my system, I think!
