The normal gt probs sounds good from the back. Just not from the cabin so much.

You can get a 7 with windshield and doors. I know a guy who daily drives a Caterham.

Real, full doors or zip-on doors? I thought you could only get half doors and the rest is zip-on/snap-on.

Some daily driver clean up during COVID.

My 2008 came to me with a clear 3M wrap. Having only done 18k miles it was in great shape, but the wrap was starting to discolor. Time to remove it. Mirrors, hood, nose, tops of front fenders.

It was an easy job, just time consuming. The wrap didn't leave much residue, a quick polish over the whole car cleaned it up. The car looks great, now I need to decide if I should wrap it again.

You could at least do the front bumper and rocker panels... would to hate see rock chips in your paint. I had my Miata done with Suntek, which form my reading is more clear than the 3M and Expel products. I did have a good size rock hit my hood from the highway and it made a small tear in the Suntek film, but did not leave a ding or scratch in the paint. It did it's job. Remarkable.

That reminds me, I need to get my car fixed. The passenger side mirror glass just fell off the other day and shattered. I haven’t been driving at all, so it hasn’t been an issue yet. But I do want to get it replaced soon.

Agreed. I want to get it back on before I end up with normal wear and tear.

Yeah they are. I guess different tolerances to stuff. I drove a 81 VW Scirocco to work for a few weeks that had roll bars, harness, aluminum bucket seat, gutted interior, no A/C, no radio and springs that were basically solid so you know most things seem somewhat daily drive-able to me.

Really the only luxury I want in a daily driver is A/C and some kind of top to keep the rain off. The rest is just extra weight/stuff to break.

It’s not about what’s doable or what’s tolerable, I just consider it a different class of car.
