Reasonably pleased with myself. I have finally gotten back in the pool after three years of pretty much no swimming at all ( vacations excluded). Saturday was my fifth time back in the pool and I managed 2 1/2 k with a pull buoy.

I have a similar setup, but mine are squat stands that are two independent stands. I take them outside in the spring/fall

    Using that home gym, Geoff?

I passed around some of my heavier dumbbells and kettlebells to friends that had no gym equipment. I have more than enough with a few bars, lots of plates, bands, benches and the remaining KB/DBs. Did some light squatting today. A little more than 2 weeks out from surgery, still need to keep the weights light for another few weeks until I get more bone growth and healing. Cleared for more light activity, starting with my safety squat bar.

We usually use this to tighten the upper and middle back, as it throws you forward puts more pressure on those areas vs a straight bar. Great for good mornings, too.

Just got done doing a short HIIT workout on my Concept 2... I'm out of shape from spending the spring, summer and fall drinking beer on the beach. Slowly ramping up to get back into it. Luckily Need to dust off my weights.

The silver lining in this isolation is that there's plenty of time for physical training.

My wife is bugging me to get a rower. We already have a treadmill and a Cyclops trainer we use with our road bikes, I think we're covered for cardio equipment.

Get the rower. It's amazing. More than just cardio workouts (strength and endurance).
