Come on, what’s the point of being a serious baller if you don’t ball out of control every once in a while?

Hey, someone here has a Jag F-Type, right? They’re starting to get scary affordable for me (V6S 6MT) and I’m beginning to feel like it might be time to change the Z4. How has the F-Type been for you? How is the reliability?

Michael had one, but I think he sold it.

I should probably just buy another Boxster. A 981 this time. It's newer than the 987 and more readily available than the F-Type.

Although, a left field choice would be a Mustang GT convertible. They're plentiful and, as such, more affordable than the others. Find one with the Performance Pack and I'm good to go. Even though it's a massive, massive car and will feel like an aircraft carrier compared to my Z4 (it's something like 27" longer and 3" longer than my S4). But right now, the 981 is my top choice.

I wonder if I should give the E89 a chance? I'm really not a fan of RHTs and I have read it much softer than my car.

If you're looking at the newer Mustangs, I test drove one and a Challenger before I got the A4. It really didn't feel big, it was pretty agile. Granted almost anything might feel bigger than your Z4. The Challenger, now that felt huge.

    What about an MX-5?

Yeah, it would be the current gen (2015+) Mustang. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it and that is definitely good to hear.

I’ve given thought to the MX-5, but I can’t help but feel like it would be a step down from the Z4 and 987 Boxster I had previously. They’re great cars, but it feels like moving backwards, you know?

Searching for a manual car where the other transmission they sell is a marketing department manual (i.e. a dual clutch or other auto clutch transmission) is infuriating. See a car you like, in a color you like, at a reasonable price, and it's only 30 miles from you? I'll go check it.....oh, these people don't know what a manual is.
