Day trip to Helsinki and waiting for the first museum to open, so starting the day with a latte.

Finally home after thirteen hour trip, time to relax with a pint of Golden Spitfire just after reading Tribe’s post about Silver Spitfire returning home.

So I'm on a ship in the Caribbean, north of Cuba, and I see this Macallan for the first time. Its labeled "for travelers only", obviously its boxed for the cruise line. I won't buy it not knowing what Scotch it is.

It's a highland single malt, from the Inverness area. I think they're all sherry oak casked.
I've tried the 'Terra' - A bit 'caramely' and spicy from what I remember. Not familiar with the other blends.

    Sorry, completely missed this.
Afraid I wouldn't have had the answer anyway.

well I do know their 25 year old rare cask can go for £250 and they do a 50 year old aged in sherry oak cask for

and did they not do a run off 200 bottles on another 50 year old and charge 25k a bottle if I am thinking of the same one

    What are you drinking?

I received this Game of Thrones gift set by Ommegan Brewery, last night.

Fire and Blood: Red ale brewed with ancho chilies.

Winter is Here: Double white ale with sea salt and white pepper.

The Black Stout: Stout spiced with licorice root and star anise.

    Should be interesting!
