Big week for bikes - most supernakeds are 160bhp ish but we have ducati, mv agusta and kawasaki all releasing 200bhp naked bikes.

While interesting power has never been a super bikes issue. I'd much rather see them become lighter. I'd take a 300lbs wet 125hp bike any day over these 200hp nearly 500lbs bikes.
    Cheers,

    Michael

The ducati is actually 440lb so quite light. My bike is 462. The kawasaki is indeed too heavy at 526lbs.

Not sure a 300lb bike with more than 40bhp exists actually.

Is that dry or wet weight?

I had a Ducati that dynoed at 115 at the rear wheel and weighted 322 lbs wet. Except in high winds it was such a joy to ride.

Blimey - which model? I dunno - my original figures were wet but ducati quotes dry so it's hard to tell.

Nice! Looks to be in good nick.

I'm so jealous if your wide roads out there. Ours are tiny - we're on top of our neighbours.

Thanks. It was a lease return, so I think that helps in terms of condition. I just have to get used to all of the electronics. My old Camry (2012) had nothing really, save for Bluetooth.

Don’t be too jealous, most of our roads are just perpetually under construction.
