    You bet!

Not to mention the damage done to my little vegetable friends!

A whole Grove of Agaricus bisporus were cruelly beheaded while simply resting in their warm beds , dozens of Allium ampleoprasum were ripped out of their snug homes and had their yarbles cruelly cut off just to season my evil concotion. .

Then there was the Origanum majorna that had his little arms savagely ripped from his slender body, just to be added into my evil broth. Which brings us to the wholesale harvesting of the still viable Vitis vinifera eggs from the mother plant just to satisfy my gustatory cravings.

All in all, it was a wonderful meal based on unmitigated savagery.

Hmm. Seems I have this overpowering urge to que up "John Barleycorn Must Die".

It's a good harvest this year, and still going. Hard to stay ahead the squirrels, though. Fuyu persimmons, feijoa (pineapple guava), black mission figs, melons, apples, avocados, and one last zucchini. There are dozens of persimmons left on the tree, and the figs and feijoa are maybe only half done. The fuyu go to the dehydrator, the feijoa into jam, the apples... I dunno yet, maybe also the dehydrator.

That might have worked. Instead I mixed them up with the feijoa and some figs for a blended jam. Too much!

Honest! It's the last one this year. #13 Hab 'N' Hank. I got enough Hankaneros to try to make a hotsauce that tastes like them. The habaneros are somewhat similar in heat, sweetness and fruitiness. The Hanks are pretty dominant and very juicy, so the finished product should taste more like them. It looks like I should get about 750 ml of it.
