Quite; and everyone relies on reflections to gauge object identification, speed and distance - A useful tool-set when driving.
I find it ludicrous that in this day and age when huge emphasis is put on car safety, that they would create a car that's difficult to see.

I can see the insurance claim statements now: "I didn't see the other car !".... and they'd actually be telling the truth.

First there was the obnoxious HID kits, then there came the new tech, LED bulbs, now.......

    Dun dun duuuuuuuun!!!!!
    LASER BULBS
Will we have to drive around with Laser goggles since they'll all be misaligned like all the other kit users!

Went to the debut of the Koenigsegg Jesko, their new model. If you don't know who that is, and you're interested in cars, it's worth taking a look--he's a real innovator, does pretty much everything in house (like a good watchmaker!). They had a few of his previous models on display:

1600hp V-8 (if you're running E85 gas, otherwise "only" 1280hp), a very interesting nine speed transmission using seven clutches, top speed over 300 mph. Price? Around $3 million, but it's kind of a moot point since they're all already sold.

They also had this car, fresh off a Swedish airstrip, which they said had just set new records for 0-400kph in around 22 seconds, and 400-0kph in a little over 8 seconds, squishing the driver like a bug. OK, I made up the last bit. They also said that conditions were a bit cool, and they thought they could improve on those numbers in warmer weather.

Of all t he supercars, Koenigsegg is the about the only brand that continually interests me. I've always been impressed with what they do.

Yes, even though (1) i could never afford to buy one, and (2) couldn’t justify it in any case. His last car, the Regera hybrid, also had a fascinating transmission—direct drive, but not a CVT.

Heck, even if I had the credit, I couldn't drive it. My eyesight and reflexes aren't what they used to be!
