It’s a thing. And I figured out how to properly use them. I needed to place one at the front of the tray (closest to the oven) as opposed to the back. Fire started right up this time.

    First one slightly over done

Second one before (forgot the after pic)

Third is my wife’s Cauliflower crust

Solid B this time. Points docked for the overcooked first one.

No, but I’m guessing it might have to do with the after cooking. They sat on the counter waiting while each other one cooked.

Think a wire cooling rack will prevent the bottom from getting soggy while waiting for the others to cook. Just a guess though. I’d imagine if I burnt the bottom it was crispy at one point.

I always use a wire rack when making pizza.

Also, I don't wait for the other pizza to come out of the oven. 5 minutes on the wire rack and then it's time to dig in.

Takes less than 5 mins to cook a pizza in the uuni (ooni). So I do wire rack for 5 mins whilst other cooks.

Fair enough and also probably the reason the crust isn't as you'd like it to be.

Mine take 12 minutes in Tex. I haven't tried in Lamar yet, but I suspect I'll be down around 9.

Top cooks quickly though. Probably needs more heat, less fire. Timings are off
