That VW transmission sounds like Porsche’s Sportomatic, which couldn’t shift on its own, but Porsche still described as an automatic. Motorcycle transmissions are completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Volkswagen and Audi describe their dual clutch transmissions as automatics.

The media describes DCTs as automatic.

Chevrolet does not call it a manual (though they do not call it an automatic explicitly).

It shifts automatically. It fits the definition of automatic. It is capable of shifting on its own without human intervention.

    It is an automatic.

These are facts. Why you can’t get them through your skulls is a mystery to me. A DCT is functionally the same as a torque converter automatic. Everyone agrees. Everyone but you three, apparently. I don’t know what’s making you guys act so ****ing stubborn over this, but you are wrong, you were wrong yesterday, and you will always be wrong unless you accept fact.

Tis a mean tread pattern. However, it's actually a sports touring tyre - michelin pilot Road 4. My previous sports tyres (that were oem on this bike) - the Bridgestone battlax s21s - lasted 3k miles on the rear. I last changed them in April. Its a joke - sports tourers cost no more but last 2-3x longer, perform just as well in the real world (maybe not on the track with rossi on it) and I guarantee I can't tell the difference. Well, it feels like it tips in quicker which it does cos the profile of my old ones was flat in the middle.

I don't know a whole lot about motorcycle tires. But I do always love the feel of a fresh set on my car. I've been using Continental DWs on my Z4 and Continental DWSs on the S4 and my Jetta before that, but it's been a while since I've bought a new set. Might have to do some research when am ready to buy a new set.

I remember when I had my Jetta in for an early check-up (I think VW used to do a 1,000 mile check-in or something like that), I ran into my salesman and we chatted. I talked about how I couldn't wait to get rid of the shitty Michelin MXM4 touring tires that came on the car. He asked "Why, too loud?" I responded "No, not enough grip." Not only were the DWSs a better tire, they were also $70 less per tire than the Michelins. My hate affair with Michelins continued that day and continues to this day. I feel like I always find better value in Continental, Bridgestone, and even Pirelli.

I'm too novice to tell. Maybe when I have a few more miles (and sets) under my belt.

It does have a Decepticon-like appearance, for sure.
