This courtesy Merc I've got is only 1.5litre (turboed obvs) and it's a lovely drive for longer journeys , I've done 1K in it now.

This Merc is doing 47 reliably, and don't be under the misunderstanding that I drive it carefully, cos I don't.

My smart gets similar and I thrash that to within an inch of its life.

My Merc C220 CDI does 45 overall, around 55 on longer trips. It’s in sport mode most of the time.

The A and B class courtesy cars seem to do 55+ everywhere.
