It picked up a phantom braking trigger this morning , there were no vehicles involved.
I was coming slight left on a 135degree bend.... and it triggered .... I think a wall on the right hand side spooked it momentarily
Forgot to say you can tell it’s a 1.5 when you push it , it doesn’t sound nice at all.
I did like the ‘enhanced reality satnav’ (option) on the previous courtesy merc I had a couple of months ago, that had the bigger screens (option), when you came up to a junction you had to follow the screen flipped to front facing camera (so complete reality) with an arrow superimposed on the screen.
It was quite cool.

But being owned is surely different than manufacturing as usual? The cars are still manufactured in their respective countries? I'm asking. I don't know.
I'm curious because one of my loves (Lotus) is currently owned by the same company that owns Volvo. But I believe they are still made in England by English hands.
And they just announced an electric hyper car (yawn).
I promise you, I don’t have a logical explanation for it. It’s a feel thing. Volvo feels like a Chinese car company now. I can’t possibly explain it with facts or anything that would make sense. Volvo is still made in Sweden and designed in Sweden, but something about Chinese ownership makes me feel icky the way other outside ownership doesn’t.
