    Nice. Get a blowtorch - you can burn the outside of the steak and it doesn't smoke, tastes smokey though.

    Brunch yesterday was leftover everything else, only with an egg on top. The patty is Turkey mince that was seasoned for another meal but worked fine here.

    Roasted Pork shoulder steaks with paprika, roasted potatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic & rosemary



    P.S. I hate cordon bleu so it is as it fell into the plate

    Dear God!! Who the hell thought this was good enough to publish in a paper
    Any self respecting foodie would throw this across the room!

    How on earth did someone think those ingredients would go together???

    And if you just "leave pasta to cool" it will keep on cooking. You have to plunge it into ice water to stop it dead at the consistency you want!

    Morimoto is very good. We have one up here, I really enjoyed it last time I went. But it has been a long time. Maybe I should make reservations......

    Asian style crab, asparagus egg soup. We got way too much asparagus this year so we blanched and froze a bunch. It's not fit for eating on it's own, but it stays bright and tasty so a quick plunge into a soup like this is perfectly fine.
