    I don't do much 'in town and city' driving so....... and anyway I would still disable it (and future cars) because as said it's akin to driving a car with a fault... like a car that stalled in times gone by......

    It's an awful (forced on you) addition to a car .... they should at least program a longer delay into it (5 seconds or so instead of virtual instantaneous stop) _ I might accept it then.
    There's a big market for disable devices so I'm not on my own.

    I had a nice chat with a fellow the other day after he parked next to me in a Miata RF. It was that metallic blue that most Mazdas come in these days and it looked amazing on the Miata. Perhaps my favorite color for it yet. Needless to say, he loved the car and it was fun talking to someone who enjoyed it so much.

    Seriously though. Night and day. One is a civilized, comfortable, spirited roadster, the other one is the devil. Two different brands of fun.
