Gas bbq isn't a BBQ. It's an oven that happens to be outdoors.

    Food

Went to a place near us called the Tennessee Truffle. Very Very good.

Fried Green tomatoes, arugula, and pork shoulder crouton.

Dessert was macaroon, butter cream, rosemary ice cream & ginger snap dust.

First attempt at the uuni pizza oven. Decent, if a faff to light (I need a blowtorch). Used a lot of pellets - about half a packet. Very hot, cooked in 2 mins, need to work on getting it off the slider to improve the roundness.

Ah, a man who likes the old ways. Like riding a horse to work when a car is so much better.

I cold smoked a steelhead trout on Friday morning. Today along with avocado and light rye it's part of this delicious and nutritious al fresco breakfast.

I'd eat that for any meal and be happy, but probably not breakfast!
