Did I read that Dunsfold is going to become a housing estate?

You got in just in time.

What was the 348 like? As I recall, those were from the bad old days of Ferrari, pre-NSX shock.

Did you drive the Aston? Is it a V-8 Vantage or something else? Can’t quite tell.

The 348 was wicked. Way easier to drive than the mustang gt350, but no TC, abs or power steering so proper raw. Wheel on the wrong side and shifting with my right hand was hard, but I got there. I don't know why all manuals don't have H gate exposed shift plates - so much easier when you can see.

The 458 was a dream - easy to drive, be in any gear, so quick, sounded epic. Paddle shifts are odd though - never know what gear you're in.

Rousch mustang was amazing!! Felt the quickest. Again paddle shift, but light steering, back end slides out and back in easily. The girl slammed the brakes on a few times on the first lap until she realised that I was an epic driver and apologised for interfering.

The mustang gt350 was a stripped out race car that actually used to race. 650 bhp. Absolute pig to drive - roasting hot, so loud, pedals were insanely heavy and with 4 gears on a stick to my right that didn't do what I wanted... Not fun! Sounded like a spitfire.

I was supposed to drive the Gt40 but that blew up. They tried to replace it with a Ford escort Mark 1 but I wasn't having it and pushed for the 348.

3 laps/6 miles in each - a good half hour driving. And a hot passenger lap in this which was insanely quick. Name: 20180414_125406.jpg

That's sad news! Was a fun track - not that I have any reference point (my first track day).
