Sad to say that's average around here, from our garden. I'm not quick enough to get them at sausage-size. For some silly reason we tend to plant a zucchini (courgette, etc.) every year, and the leaves get so big that we miss a few hiding underneath. If you forget to look for a few days, you're swamped. We often get several that are roughly the size of a lower human leg. They aren't so tough, luckily. I typically split them lengthwise, scoop out the seeds and stuff the middles with sausage, cooked rice, herbs etc, then bake them in the oven for 40 minutes or so.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

My wife refuses to believe that your courgette is larger than mine, and insists that you whip yours out and take a photo.

Coq au vin. Crispy skin was my off-piste addition but it was amazing. Way better than sloppy, soggy skin. From now on... every time. Name: IMG_20180325_190415_377.jpg

Yum. I made elk bourguignon a week or two ago and that always gets me thinking about coq au vin.

Me too. We had the green banana curry just the other day and a big curry feast earlier in the week. It's hard to get too much curry.
