The desserts are nice and thankfully I don't belong in a religion that prevents me from eating pork
It would certainly be a shame to have to pass on that pork belly.

Ah, the versatile porker! I just put some chops in a Cuban style marinade for tomorrow's dinner.
I'm not allowed to have oranges anymore so I used some key lime juice. Paprika, garlic, and a bit of salt completes it. I used to add raisins but they're right out too.

Is that carrot juice? Carrot juice is one of those low key delicious juices.

Raza,it's Thai ice tea, basically it's Thai red tea added with plenty of milk and condensed milk...a good pairing for spicy dishes

Well that was bust. Didn't notice when I made the marinade that I grabbed smoked paprika instead of regular.
Lime and smoke. Not a very good combo.

    Beef Bourguignon tomorrow!
The snow is beginning to stick to ground so a hearty stew seemed in order.
Marinade tonight, fill the house with the wonderful aroma tomorrow.

I love a good bœuf bourguignon. An elk version is in my near future.
