Monsieur, with all those chocolate balls in one go, you are really spoiling yourself

Once I start eating things like that I'm a total pig, so I do my best to avoid them. Until I reach my parents house just after Christmas. Then four days of ...everything. I'm normally so full that 360 days of modest eating seems extremely desirable.

I had only one of the girls at home yesterday evening and she made me a burger with bacon and pineapple. It tasted great

    I went out tonight.
Chicken bossom stuffed with spinach, feta cheese, and herbs, then crusted and broiled. Greek sour cauliflower, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and garlic bread.
A great homemade cheesecake for desert.

    And it was good.

Well, sorry, I didn't bother taking pictures, but here is a note i sent a friend regarding what I ate yesterday:

Small meals are the key to debauchery. So far today I have had: smoked salmon, corned beef hash, festival, callaloo and some choy like thing stewed with fried plantain on the side, jerk sausage and spinach quiche, red bean and chicken and yam and dasheen soup, grilled Mahi Mahi over canellini beans and potatoes, grilled snapper tacos, sweet potato chips with pumpkin jalapeno dip, brown stew conch, curried goat, oxtail stew, a better festival, bami, rice and gunga beans, ackee and salt fish, escovitched snapper, jerk chicken, jerk pork, pepper and Red Stripe shrimp.

Lots of swimming was involved in surviving the day.

Yeah and I forgot a few things too! Smoked marlin for one and a dizzying array of tropical fruit.

It was a looong day and small portions. I am just sitting down to poached eggs on pumpkin hash now.

Grilled some ribeyes last night and had a boring ol' baked potato along side.
