£160 to unblock the filter on my windscreen washer - seem reasonable?

On the face of it, no. But after looking it up I see that DIY solutions aren't as straightforward as I thought.

    I'd pay it.

I did. They gave me a coffee, a courtesy car, and called me Mr so I'm happy.

    Sold my bike

To be fair I haven't ridden it in a while. Full licence and big bike soon enough!

I put the old truck in the air yesterday to chase down a vibration that keeps getting worse. No doubt what it was when I got under the truck - the u joint at the rear had lost all it's needle bearings on 2 of the caps. The driveshaft was flopping around at anything but walking speed.

The swap was a pain in the ass but I got it swapped and buttoned up.

Fired it up to test drive and smelled gas. Look under the hood and gas is pouring out of the fuel filter 😣 Luckily I had spare filters and gaskets.

    Good as new.

Today is lube/cleaning and maybe getting the clutch in my race car. 🤓

    Race car?

By the way, I'm envious of your ability to diagnose and the fix the problem.

Cars are generally pretty easy, even newer stuff. Newer may be easier since you can just plug in and query the ECU.

No leaks or vibes, I can live with a little coast down whine.

Currently a 3/5 drop on springs and spindles. I'd like to go a little little lower and ditch the ugly (installed by last owner) 17s in favor of a 15 steelie, but I don't want to have to cut the frame.

Planning to do the wheels first, maybe a little taller tire on a wheel with more offset will look better without going lower.
