This is my 3rd second generation TC.. One 1993 and now a second 1994. I'm half heartedly looking for a lastt generation TC
to replace the Continental. Maybe a Grand Marquis. They're the same platform.

That's how it works. Big roads, big open spaces. Where else are large cars common? Australia. Another country with a lot of open spaces. Much of Europe is much more densely populated and much older than the US, so there are smaller, narrower roads that necessitate smaller cars. Out here, a regular person living in the suburbs or a rural area where gas is cheap and you pile people in for long drives, things like size and comfort take priority over clever packaging and efficiency. I don't know why you have a problem with that. It's just the reality for most people in the US.

    More Town Car madness.

If you recall, about a year and a half ago I gave my 1993 T.C. to a local waitress who turned out to be a drug/alcohol abuser.
She was due in court at the end of this month to get her licence reinstated.
It appears that yesterday she decided to get an early start on her celebrating. In the middle of the afternoon she decided to drive around town and promptly hit another car head on, while driving on the wrong side of the road.

    Nobody was hurt-the good news.

She got out of her car and wandered off. The victims husband was the first on the scene and he found found the girl sitting on a porch a few blocks away.

Here's the surprise, the victim happens to be the wife of my paint and body man!

I wondered why I couldn't get a hold of him yesterday after noon, while I was trying to get some touch up paint for my new T.C.
