Man, the S5 is a seriously sweet car. Fast, gorgeous, well controlled, and comfortable without being numb. A huge improvement over his old S4, which was always a bit soft for my taste. My only complaints about the S5 are the odd gearstick (which seems to be fast becoming the standard type, for reasons unknown), the lack of front seat grab handles in the ceiling, and a slightly soft accelerator pedal.

Are they making S5s with a manual shift option? Of the current Audis, I think the A5/S5 are sharp. I think I am done with Audi though. They are getting too soft/luxurious for my tastes.

You mean a real manual? No.

But this is a step in the right direction for feel. Like I said, it's much sharper than his 2011 S4, which was praised when it came out.

So my Sunday morning gas run for our cars I was waiting for the light to change. All of a sudden in the left turn lane came three Viper ACR. I thought I was in pit lane at the Daytona 24. Living in a area were there is a high concentration of super cars even the very rare ones this is the most amazing car I've ever seen. That wing looks so much bigger when it is seen up close in real life. Also how open the fenders and vents are. This really is a race car.

Yes! Vipers are cool. Even better in person.

Windows always go down when there is a Viper near, even if it is raining in the middle of winter. The better to hear and feel it drive by.

Have you seen the ACR version on the street? It looks completely different than the standard with every thing exaggerated for speed and down force. I thought they were taking liberties calling it a picnic table size wing, but after seeing it you could sit six adults around it ( 3on each side). It just looked so big.
