    Not a roadster...but a 6MT: My daily driver (kidding!)

What's the top stow/replace time on the Aston? The Z4's blistering roof time has spoiled me. At any light, I can put the roof down and I'll never be late for the green. 8.5 seconds down. 10 seconds up means you never get too wet (unless you don't mind it, then you can just keep going).

I'm still seriously jealous of your V8. I'm just glad it's an automatic, otherwise I might just die of jealousy. V8 Vantage Roadster 6MT in dark blue would be first purchase if I won the lottery. Then I'd get a set of black wheels, a Royal Oak chronograph, and a literal ton of caviar.
Time is around 15 seconds, but some of that is the rear cover folding down to make things look tidy. The top itself is up and protecting you from rain in probably ten seconds or less. Activates at any speed under 30 mph. Technically, mine is an automated manual--it has a "drive" mode but it sucks, you keep it in sport mode (which shortens the shift times) and use the paddles. It'll downshift automatically in that mode if you let it, but it won't upshift, it will let you hit the rev limiter. Redline is pretty high for a V8 at 7300 rpm. It can get up to around 70 mph in second gear.

That's a really good illustration of why the car is so well balanced--see how they stuffed the engine in between the driver's seat and the front wheels. Weight balance is excellent. I think the V-12 version wouldn't handle as well due to the extra weight in front.

Noooo, he's further up the drive with the first photo.

I suspect the rock is new though …. in the location , not as a rock per se.

The bike that was going because it's a luxury, and because it would appease the wife after buying the BMW.

    That one?

Yeah, I'm thinking for the future. Or in the unlikely event that I close a decent deal soon and make some commission.
