It really is a shame to hide that movement with a solid case back.

Ill try to do a comparison at some point (hopefully without fingerprints), the SBGA105 has certainly surprised me in a few ways

I already posted this in WRUW but I suppose it belongs here too. I got it for Christmas, so it's fairly new and I am still in the bonding phase with it.
The dial pattern is actually more subtle than it looks, and really only apparent close up, so not to worry if you don't like it as it just appears white from a distance. I'm not good at writing reviews so I'd better not. Oh, and I am awaiting a brown 'gator strap from France for it.

It looks like the dials on early Ball EHC watches like the Mad Cow and the current EMII Diver. Generally my favorite texture pattern since theirs has a semi random element and looks like a finger print. This is pretty nice.
Cheers,
Michael

Has anyone sent their GS back to Japan for a full service and can report on it? Is it a Rolex level of service?
(I use Rolex as a benchmark as I think they consistently give the best overhaul service, compared to Omega/Swatch group, Tag, Zenith, even JLC, where some reports have been disappointing)
