I'm a bit of a breakfast purist. Eggs or porridge for me. And definitely no fish of any kind!

I eat NS smoked salmon on bagels with cream cheese 3 times a week or more. Best quick brekky ever.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

A fresh and properly made bagel with cream cheese and lox is to die for IMO.

I can't imagine you saying this if you had ever had a real bagel, like one from a Jewish deli in the Northeast USA (New York City especially.) Here in California we often find these pale awful bready things labelled "bagels" but we all know a real bagel is made like a pretzel, risen yeast dough boiled in lye before it's baked. It goes stale in about an hour, but when it is hot and steamy it tastes like every favorite thing ever. Mix some lox with that cream cheese and I could eat it every day and get fat with glee... and I'm not even Jewish nor from New York. It's just... well, it's like when you go to Italy and have your first real pizza.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Yup. Bagels are too doughy for me. I mean, I'll eat them, but never through choice. And cream cheese is sour.
