question, has anyone ever tried shortening nato/zulu straps? I've done a couple with varied results, this one could do with being an inch shorter or where the last hole is but I'm not very neat lol

I cut all my nato/Zulu straps using 2 coins a set of mole grips and a scalpel, always turns out ok

don't that just beat all boiler been working fine for the last 12 months get a call to say it service time so arrange for today I was last call out... so was waiting around a bit this afternoon well chap turns up friendly enough bloke so set to servicing it and only goes and snaps the tap to turn off the supermagic gunk removing cartridge and does not have one on the van and he's off tomorrow so had to arrange for some one else to come and swap the part but least it in hot weather no hot water /heating but least it's the right time to go wrong I suppose ..

that old adage comes to mind if it ant broke don't fix it .. but I suppose if it had gone in the middle of winter I would not be best please so least it is getting sorted and they was going on about having to have the flume double hung and it not being service covered but now they will do it for free tomorrow and pay for the parts so silver lining I suppose was going to go out as got things I got to do but looks like I can't now

yeah a couple of two pence coins and if you use mole grip while they are clamp together you can run a lighter along the edge to seal the cut
