    on a different note throwing that watch out the window must have helped as this morning got the back of it ok did but one more little scratch on the back cover but then used a proper ss knife and we won there was a bit of dirt on the movement I cleaned off with and ear bud but no luck yet on it ticking

    I usually find that if i keep gently blowing the balance several times eventually it starts . ( I use a dust blower not my breath) and i have rescued many watches this way.

    for a quartz ?

    was thinking now I have strip the movement out whether to risk the same thing I did with the t290 ? or see what the going rate is of a movement or wonder when w.s had the put together fatboy whether that movement might work would like to get the same sort so the battery cover hatch could be used
