now what does that mean ?

For repair.. seconds hand runs. Index hands don't move unless for adjusting time.Easy fix?

Means there are a few teeth missing if the second gear if you ask me.
I'd say it needs a lot more than a bath in horoclene and a quick slap in the palm
Or broken or the wrong type of stem ?

was wondering if they meant by index hands then meant sub-hands then I was thinking they was probably put on to hard and move when setting but when the crowns pushed in. it's to tight to move under the cogs power ?

Index hands are just minutes and seconds. If they was just too tight then the seconds wouldn't turn either, the seconds gear drives the minutes which in turn drives the hours.
I'm thinking the stem isn't re-engaging the gears properly.

never had a need to take the back of my cwc so how that work you would think pop with the battery change slot on the back but just bust my knife trying to pop the back off
