Definitely the same DNA, but it's not as extreme and strange looking as the Evoque. The Evoque is a bit of a tryhard; it really wants to be stylish and cool, a bit too much.

Wife and I drove an Evoque in our recent hunt for her new ride.

I wasn't impressed but I can see how those who want to wear a brand might like it.

It's very small inside and out. I'm not a large guy (a little wide in the shoulders and legs) and I struggled to fit comfortably in the drivers seat. There was almost no room in the hatch area with the seats up.

Yes it does seem a little pointless.

The visibility is terrible from the Evoque too.

At least it makes more sense then the BMW X6 or Acura ZDX.

Yeah, the Evoque does nothing for me. An exercise in style over substance.

A little cleaning and tinting on my superwagon yesterday. I had them darken the sunroof, too.

I think I'm going to ditch all the chrome and polished bits.

Not a black wheel fan but this guy started blacking out his trim. I like the side view but overall it misses the mark.
