I'm sure I've left stuff out.... The only thing stock is the suspension which was upgraded from the Lotus Sport division to adjustable Ohlins which are SUPER Nice - best thing about the car. I can't imagine a better suspension set up. It has also been corner balanced.

All in all, a very fun car, but it's no daily driver, ha ha.
I think I have aftermarket wiper blades on my... Wait, no. The last set I put on were OEM.

It's just that the 911 is so well sorted that you have to spend serious money if you want improvement.

I do have a few projects on the radar; drop the cat for a premuffler, add a new muffler and re-chip it. I also will be ripping out the entire A/C system and putting in an upgraded one, converting to 134a in the process. The stock A/C is woefully bad, seriously bad.

You haven't driven my Elise, though...and not everybody agrees it was perfect from the factory

My wife treated me to a "Dream Drive" b-day present a few years ago where we spent the entire day driving 6 hot drives over the twisty roads of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and the Lotus Elise was included in the lineup (the 6 car lineup included the Lotus Elise, Porsche 911, Corvette ZO6, Dodge Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Ferrari F430).

An absolutely stunning (and ultra-lightweight/fun) car to drive.

Here's the Elise we carved the mountain roads in: (seriously thought about picking up a reasonably priced/preowned model after the drive...an absolute hoot to drive)!!!

Thanks Chris, the original owner of my car also had Ferraris and Lambos and he liked driving the Elise more. He's also the one who had all the mods done to my car before I bought it (well, most. I did a few as well). He loved the car, but thought it needed to be faster. I'm not complaining

Ditto! A supercharger gives it some badly needed lower rpm grunt, which makes selecting precisely the perfect gear slightly less critical. And a cooler sounding exhaust than stock is definitely a must...

Ah, lower RPM grunt. If I wanted that, I'd go for something with a V8!

In a car that weighs less than 2000 Ilbs? lol, Raza we get it, you don't like to mod cars. No biggie. I love how my car performs, and I desire nothing further (except maybe a vintage Ferrari, and that's just not gonna happen).

It's not even the modding thing. For me--and this is my opinion only--having to work for that top end power is part of the fun for a car like the Elise. Low end grunt to me is a different kind of experience; one I enjoy, when in a Mustang or something, but for me, effortless is not my goal in a sports car. Everything good is worth working for....
