Thanks for the likes guys! I was trying to think back, but I think I took that pic back in the TZ days. Almost sure I got it gray market from Italy. I was using an Olympus 5050 camera. I got the BA shortly after it came out and also bought a spare back and had a see-through made for it. I've always loved the looks of the blued hands.

Despite my Zenith background, I've always been partial to Omega's styling.

Awesome. I'd love matching watches with my wife.

Yeah, same. When I mention it though, she just rolls her eyes... she just...doesn't...get it

Well, I am not saying it was an easy sell. But like myself, she is over 50 years of age which means we both grew up in a world where people used watches and mechanical watches of this type are like special jewelry. She wears a vintage Zenith HW if she uses a watch (she works from home) or the Constellation for special events. She hardly ever uses the Seiko 5 I gave her a while back and I have "re-acquired" any other watches I have tried to gift her (mostly vintage).

I, however, get a kick out of wearing her dad's gold Cellini when we go to special events.

My wife has a nice eco drive I bought her about 8 years ago and she loves it. Doesn't see a business case for a more expensive watch.
