I think it's time to inject some levity back into this thread.

Somebody got a bath over the weekend after finally getting back into good driving shape...

    '89 Carrera

I had an issue with the automatic top that I needed to get sorted as well as a battery drain while the car was off. Thankfully fixing one fixed the other. My next project is installing two car seats in the back...

964s are my favorite 911. I want one someday. Last generation of the removable top targas.

Car seats--that car is a 2+2, most 911s are. Although the back "seats" are generally only comfortable for cats. Small cats.

Mine is the last true 911, the 964's started in 89 1/2. According to the door sticker my car was born in September of 1988 in West Germany.

What he said. My project involves finding small car seats that fit and coming up with a way to safely attach them. Cars back in the day weren't built with the LATCH system or with car seats in mind. I have 4 eye bolts on order from a racing parts place that take the place of the bolts that hold the lap belt supports. These bolt directly to the body, so I thoughts they'd be good enough to hold the car seats; with a little wranglin' of course...

Hmm. That's embarrassing. I've usually got a very keen eye for 911 generations.
