Brisket out of the oven can't hold a candle to one off the smoker. If I do have it from the oven, I prefer going Jewish style or something with apricots and savoury spices.

Found out though that a pasta machine really is needed. A rolling pin is too much trouble.
    Looks great Magnus.

You must get a pasta machine. It is so much easier. Easier yet, a pasta roller on a kitchen appliance!

    Ready to nom!

I am not sure what we will do with the leg of lamb, but fresh home grown greens will be part of the meal.

Back: arugula, mizuna, mustard greens, arugula. Front: upland cress, romaine, tatsoi.

Both the arugula and the upland cress are at least as bitter and peppery as I had hoped.

This pod is just some greens blend and behind it is straight up red leaf lettuce, which is being a bit tardy. It

From now on I should be able to harvest every three or four days for up to four months, just from these pods. If I save every other harvest until the next I should be able to have a full meal salad once a week, if I choose. Delicious times ahead, my friends.

We call it rocket - it's good stuff. I buy packets of that mixed with spinach and cress and add vine tomatoes avocado, maybe some feta...Sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and pine nuts if I'm feeling fancy. That's my kinda salad - not cucumber and lettuce.

Not pretty but damn tasty. Pulled beef on brioche with hash browns, cheese and coleslaw. Hangover cure right there. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1451668097898.jpg
