    More likely a W114 (250/280C) or W126 (560SEC).

My problem is I don't know where it would fit in the fleet... Right now I have my 99 Civic Si (daily driver which is getting sold soon and replaced), my '93 Civic EX (autocross/ fun car) and my '63 Triumph Spitfire (very long term project). I want/need a truck so next year I am going to buy an old Chevy/GMC or Dodge which will be lowered and one day get a built motor. More then 4 cars is just too many projects/insurance cost. Replacing the daily driver with an old Mercedes might now be the best plan... I think a vintage Mercedes is going to be a car I'd love to own and be able to afford to own but never own like an Alfa.

I have a list of cars or types of cars I'd love to own, a Jag, a Saab or Volvo, a vintage Mercedes, an Alfa and a vintage American car or truck. The Volvo or Saab and Jag are going to be my next two daily drivers and I am aiming to get the vintage truck but how the Mercedes and Alfa fit in I am not sure.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm not a big fan of the styling of the new NSX. Plus, would've loved for it to be a nice V8 instead of a hybrid.

I actually drove a v8 for the first time the other day. Never drove a hybrid but I gather the electric motors are pretty instant.

Instant....yes, but not the same. A buddy of mine bought a Tesla P85D. Absolutely crazy acceleration and very nicely balanced to drive, but driving a car without the engine rumble isn't much fun for me.
I'd take a nicer gas car (M3, GT-R etc.) over it any day.
Hybrids are very nice, when done right, like the "LaFerrari"

I now know I'd rather have the original then the new one...

I knew that before the video. This is the problem, new supercars have become stats obsessed, and they lose feel. Technology is great in a phone, but in a car, I don't want to feel it. I talk about my Z4 as a simple roadster, and while that's true comparable to cars today, there's a lot of tech in it. You just don't feel it. Nowadays, manufacturers are all too happy to let technology get in the way in order to get a faster Nurburgring time.

The new NSX is a good looking car--it draws a lot from the Audi R8 and the new Mclaren cars. But he's right, it doesn't draw much from the original.

This thing could be saved with a high strung 400hp or so V6 and a stick. Get rid of the hybrid shit, dump AWD, and give people something that feels like a car.

And by "saved", I mean saved in the eyes of enthusiasts. The market will want the tech and the AWD and the spec sheets.

2012 528I X-Drive. It's much more comfortable than my 07 530Xi, but doesn't handle nearly as well. The wifey likes it because it doesn't jar her dental work out....but me, I'm looking for ways to improve said handling.

    Gone but definitely not forgotten....
